Working Conditions

Our Approaches

• The Company's working conditions comply with labor legislation of the respective regions, ISO 14001 certificate “Environmental Management Systems” and OHSAS 18001 certificate “Specification for Occupational Safety and Health Evaluation System”.
• Severstal cares for its employees' health. The Company implements the integrated program “Safety For All” that is intended to create a world-class occupational and industrial safety system. (link to Safety Code, safety section)

Insurance programs

The Company provides various insurance programs for employees. The programs vary depending upon the business unit's region.

Miscellaneous programs

• Medical program “Severstal's Health”. That was developed to have integrated effect on all factors that influence the improvement of employees' health.
• Training program “Young Resources”. It is aimed at creating the Company's personnel reserve; and the Company actively works with undergraduate students and high-school children.
  Discounted programs for recreation of employees and their children at vacation hotels and health resorts.
