Vladimir Zaluzhsky appointed Head of Investor Relations of OAO Severstal, effective as of 1st of July 2010

Vladimir's responsibilities will include overseeing communications with investors and financial analysts. Dmitry Druzhinin, who has held the position of the Head of Investor Relations since 2002, will be leaving the Company in two months time to ensure a smooth transition of IR functions to Vadimir Zaluzhsky.

We are grateful to Dmitry Druzhinin for his fruitful work and wish him every success in future.

Vladimir graduated from the Moscow State Linguistic University and the Finance Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation. Additionally, he is completing a postgraduate course at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

Prior to joining Severstal, Mr. Zaluzhsky held various communications positions at a Scandinavian private equity fund Mint Capital, steel and mining company Mechel, and communications agencies Delovaya Liga and ETC Partners.
